Add flower day JULY 10TH also to your e-mails, we may get good atten from the media.
Guys please send the flowers...I know we dont have very good publicity like others...we need to find the way to get the media atten. One reporter might be intrested in our news not evry one, to get evey body atten we need to do it in samrt and in different way..guys bunch of people are thinking the flower day is good, other think it is not, we have this problem from ages.
If one send flowers or e-mail it is not news..if every body joins it is gonna be a greate news.

Need to travel via British airways. H1b visa is expired and need to get UK transit visa.
Any experiences on the quickest way to get this?

Please don't travel thru countries that impose this ridiculous transit Visa requirement on individuals, especially from India. Ask them to justify the charges, and you would get no response from them.
So, even if takes to spend $200 - 300 more, AVOID these crook countries that charge Transit Visa. People we must send the message across. In this century, I think its Indians that are traveling the most on these trans-atlantic-asia route, and collectively avoiding these 'snob' countries would send a very good signal.
If you are buying the transit visa, your dignity is at stake. Its like saying buying insurance for a person who is poor. They dont charge for countries that are more developed. so, AVOID AVOID these countries.
I am traveling to India soon, and I am going thru Brussels not because I got a cheap ticket, but because there is no transit visa required there.

My PD is in Feb 2005, hence downloaded the 2005 MDB, did not find my case in there and to my surprise haven't seen any cases from the backlog centers. The database for 2005 contains only 14000 records, can't believe there are only 14K cases filed in 2005. Am i missing something ?

Very well written letter. However If you agree here is something I feel should be updated.

I had my I140 approved too and had mentioned it in my application. They dont bother you. They however gave me 221g to verify student status and delayed my visa for two weeks. Interview was less than 2 mins and the vo said she had to verify student status thats it.
Please explain what is student status and 221g. You mean , if you are student of any intitute in US, while your I-140 is approved?

If company is promoting and Apply for EB2, then the PD should be Promotion Date. Because EB2 qualification starts only after promotion. One cannot go back and get old PD and attach it to EB2 after promotion. That is unfair to people, who are already promoted and applied before. Hope this makes sense.

1. I am working part time on EAD with my sponsoring company and full time with other company under different position and less requirements than labor certification. I want to leave full time company and want to open a business firm. Is this okay? Along with my own business do I have to work for sponsoring company?
2. My daughter is going to college next year. Is she considered as international student or in state student? Her 485-I is pending under my derivative. She do have EAD and ss.
3. If my daughter turns in 21 years before our green card comes, then will she have any problems in getting GC?

I filed my 485 at Nebraska Service Center. Recently I changed jobs and I moved to Connecticut. According to my address I must file my EAD application to TSC. But, when I did the efile, I received a LIN number as my confirmation. And the confirmation message asked to send the supporting documents to Nebraska Service Center.
I don't know if this is ok.

NO, it is not normal. My lawyers recieved the denial notice in a weeks time and they had told me that they would contact USCIS if they did not get the notice in 14 days.
Even my AP got approved on april 22nd and it was mentioned in status that the approval notice was sent on april 22nd. But again they updated the same info on May 1st.Still i havent recd the approval notice.

USCIS is already aware of this. They have been notified through AILA and our letters are also working. IV has also been pushing for more broader AC21 regulations for a few months now.
Our request from IV is to keep sending the letters. Please send letters in thousands - not like 50 to 60 letters.
Everyone must take initiative and push other members. It is a very importasnt campaign.
It is very much possible that a lot of you may be a victim of AC21 denials. It is your call.
Please take responsibility and everyone must come forward and bring others also into this campaign.

I also reached this conclusion that....GC perm apps right now in the first 9 immigration calendar months is at an all time low and if this is indicator for future then huge ROW numbers would be going waste and by law they then will percolate to retrogressed countries like India and China and I also foresee huge PD moving in 2009-2010 calendar yr starting Oct 1 2010. I think they will increase quarter by quarter rather than month by month and by this time next year many people might get their GCs.
Yes this is a serious plus point and ofcourse yes having jobs intact during this period would be the key...so given that is OK then GCs should start coming...I agree with beautiful mind

Looks like if the LUD didn't happen on the day or the following day of the FP, it won't happen at all for FP.
My FP was done on 20th Sep and no LUDs at all. My 140 is also not approved yet I first thought maybe that is the reason for no LUDs after FP. But I see so many of you not getting LUDs...
No LUD Update (NSC) for the last 2 days after FP. But EAD card has been ordered. Its very difficult to predict how they operate.
